welcome to sundayinla : a gallery of documentary photography, photojournalism and urban exploration.
my work is concerned with representing the human and non-human aspects of the urban and social landscape through photography
“Every building is at a loss; how is one to know if it is the predator or the prey in the uncertain microcosm presented? Los Angeles is a bizarre city, the trees bare few leaves and seem of little importance to anyone besides the occasional moose cleaning the skin from its new antlers. Humans may have inhabited this place at some point, but the earth still breathes beneath our pounding feet. The fogged landscape is startling and foreboding. A place of abundant wealth but still we are hungry people lerking within these dead trees, and endless metaphors. After all, in this city of uncertainty it’s hard to know who is the bear, elk, moose, or fox, and whether or not you’re made out of leaves.” ---- Justin Snyder . Justin@pushgallery.com
